Because He is We are...
"Yesterday, Today and Forever"
The First Congregational Church of Bay Shore was established in 1853. The present sanctuary was built in 1891 by ship's carpenters and is listed in the National Register of Historical Places. You can expect a warm welcome at 10:00 am Sunday worship services. Holy communion is celebrated on the first Sunday each month, and is open to everyone. After services, all are invited to coffee hour, an opportunity for fellowship.
Our beautiful sanctuary features dramatic, inverted crossed hulls of ships, 29 breathtaking stained glass windows, and a 113-year old Orman Organ. The sanctuary is frequently adorned with colors that represent the seasons of the Christian calendar. Sunday School begins at 10:30 am and is open to children from pre-K through the 12th grade.

Pastor, Pasta and Prayer
Mandy's Mark Sunday is a Sunday that, for me, brings inspiration and confusion. Amanda, an angel of God , taken to soon, is one of the reasons I am a Pastor today. Her shorten life, brings to me, a sense of strength and peace....and yet confusion also. I am so grateful for the Kuck family and their love. I am so grateful for example they set for all of us....and I am ready to join the fight against cancer. Please join me as we celebrate, Amanda Kuck. Come & See how God can use any situation or tragedy, to bring Light to a darkened world. The Kuck's have done it....and thats why Mandy has made a mark on me...
Peace and Blessings
Ready, set, go....Summer is slowly winding down, Autumn begins. A new season, a new day. School has begun, football is back and the leaves will soon start to change colors. In today's readings Jesus challenges us, quite poignantly, to see that discipleship is not just something we do on a Sunday, but it's something we live each day. He challenges us to Come & See....to take up our cross and journey WITH Him...a new day has come..are you willing to give it a try?...It's effects are eternal..Check it out
Happy Labor Day
Peace & Blessings to all of our young people as they head off to school..
