Meet Our Teachers

Sandra Green, Director

Miss Sandy has been with the Early Learning Center since 1994 first as a volunteer, then a Teacher. She in presently the Director/Head Teacher.  She received her AAS in Early Childhood Education from Suffolk County Community College.  When not working with children she enjoys quilting, sewing costumes for local theater, watching black & white movies and going to the city to see Broadway Shows.

Talia Carrigan, Head Teacher

Miss Talia has been working in child care for 12 years.  She has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and a Masters in Early Childhood & Special Education.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends outdoors, concerts and traveling to new places.

Donna Carrigan, Pre School Assistant

Miss Donna has been with the ELC for two years. She has earned her license in Cosmetology and practices her craft part-time. Her passions, besides her home and family are gardening and cooking.

 
Andrea Jaramillo, Toddler Teacher

Miss Andrea has been teaching children for 11 years. Originally from Medellin, Columbia, she graduated from Luis Amigo University with a degree in education. Miss Andrea is a mom to her three year old daughter, Emma and loves to spend time with her and her family.

Caitlin Pagan, Toddler Assistant

Miss Caitlin is the newest member of the ELC staff.  Miss Caitlin is a Veterinary School student, who enjoys volunteering with Special Olympics.  She absolutely loves her job here at the Early Learning Center.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, camping and hiking.

Gabriella Martinez, Infant Teacher

Miss Gabby has 5 years experience in Early Childhood Education.  She is currently working on her CDA Certificate for Infants.  She finds great pleasure being part of the Early Learning Center family.  When she has free time, she likes to take pictures with her Canon camera. She also enjoys taking hiking trips.

Ema Guillen, Infant Aide

Miss Ema is 18, and graduate from Bay Shore High School in June. She has worked at the center for 3 years and plans to attend Suffolk College for Early Childhood Education. She plays soccer, runs track and loves to paint in her free time. She loves to watch Disney movies, cook and go on adventures (pre COVID life).

Ciara Camacho, Teacher’s Aide

Miss Ciara is a Senior at Bay Shore High School. In her free time, she paints and draws and has a love for photography. Her favorite activity is going to the beach. After high school she plans to major in Fashion Merchandising at college.

Keyanni Dudley, Teacher’s Aide

Miss Keyanni has been with the Early Learning Center for over one year.  She is currently attending Nassau Community College, majoring in Nursing, beginning her Sophomore year.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Rosa Cruz, Teacher’s Aide

Miss Rosa is the newest member of our ELC family.  She graduated from Bay Shore High School in June and plans to get her certification in Early Childhood Education.  She enjoys spending time enriching the minds of our future, and being a role model to them as they grow.
